OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. The first million tons of TANEKO refined products have been delivered to the "Mid-Volga Transnefteproduct" long-distance pipelines system. Upon the whole more than 4.7 million tons of oil were used and processed during testing and operation of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. The nearest plans of the refinery workers envisage increasing crude oil refining volumes and improving the technical and economic performance indicators.

Implementation of "The Complex of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants" Project was started in 2005 with the aim of developing a new stage of the oil refining industry of Tatarstan. The Government of the Republic and TATNEFT Company initiated the construction.

The key objective of the project is to provide a high-tech, efficient and environmentally friendly processing of oil with outputting competitive marketable products. The installations of the first starting complex produce gasoline, heating oil, industrial kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, vacuum gas oil, fuel oil and sulfur.

The completion of the Project envisages production of a wide range of crude oil deep conversion products, including motor fuels of Euro - 5 standard.

One of the main priorities of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex is environmental orientation. The incorporated design solutions, application of the world's proven technologies and equipment ensure minimizing the impact on the environment. In addition a multilevel system of continuous environmental monitoring has been provided.
