OREANDA-NEWS. June 6, 2012. Belarus’ beer output increased 12.6% on the year in January-April 2012 to 13.9 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told reporters.

In April, beer output rose 3.2% to 3.9 million decaliters, up 6.8% on month.

Beer inventories were at 2.7 million decaliters as of May 1, 2012, 77% of the average monthly output.

Inventories reduced 13.8% from January 1, 2012.

Beer sales increased 1.2% on the year in Jan-Apr 2012 to 9.92 million decaliters.

In terms of 100% alcohol, beer sales grew 0.5% percentage points in April to 13%.
