OREANDA-NEWS. June 8, 2012. SGS Certificates ISO 9001:2008 и FSSC 22000were handed over to the management of Orkla Brands Russia during ceremonial meeting that took place on May 16, 2012.

Food Safety Standards Audit implemented at Krupskaya factory and Pekar plant were executed in February 2012 by the experts of CJSC "SZS Vostok Limited", Russian subdivision of SGS group. In the process of audit experts were examinating the correspondence of Quality Management systems to the requirements of International standard ISO 9001:2008 (quality management) and international certification scheme FSSC 22000 (food safety management). SGS auditors have particularly pointed out analytical component of the management system. In particular, analyses of the quality management system is provided by the great amount of collected data on the system functioning, regular market analyses and implementation of 360? feedback between the management and specialists. On the basis of audit results SGS certificates ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 were issued under the Swiss accreditation SAS.

While handing over the certificates, Head of Certificate and Services Department in the Eastern Europe SGS Konstantin Timoshechkin congratulated the personnel of Orkla Brands Russia branches with the successful passing through certification process and underlined that implementation of Management system is not possible without full dedication from the company’s personnel.

Dmitry Ufimkin, "Orkla Brands Russia" Quality & R&D Director, pointed out that FSSC 22000 certificate reveals new possibilities for the company to expand the market as the Food Safety Certificate (GFSI), acknowledged by the Global initiative is the main requirements of the Food markert leaders towards the suppliers. Thus, in accordance with the METRO group strategy all Russian suppliers to "Metro cash& carry" and "REAL" should be certified with GFSI in order to produce METRO CTM products.
