OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2012. The International Bank for Reconstruction and development, one of institutions of the World Bank Group, will extend a loan of USD493 thou. to Moldova to consolidate the system of public procurements.

At a sitting the government of Moldova approved opening of the talks on this matter and authorized Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta to endorse the document. The means will be allotted from the Institutional Development Fund, the Finance Minister notes.

The grant of IBRD is designed to finance development and putting into practice electronic means to make public procurements as well as to back development of their potential. The main objective of IBRD allotting the grant is to further implementation public procurement reforms.
