During their informal meeting with Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar, representatives of the Association of Foreign Investors had their say about gaps in the fiscal and customs administration an complained of disloyal competition, including that when some economic agents smuggle goods to Moldova.

Valeriu Lazar suggested investors taking part in public discussions on the draft fiscal policy for the short term period. He told the investors about the talks and their strategy on the Free, Comprehensive and Deep Trade Area with EU.

Valeriu Lazar also informed them about plans of the government on privatization and implementation of public-and private partnership projects and told about transition conditions and Moldova's positioning after the signing of the agreement.

According to the Valeriu Lazar, Moldova is interested in cooperation and further partnership with both: European and Eastern partners.
