OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2012. ENGTRANSSTROI CORPORATION (ETS, a Mostotrest subsidiary) has launched implementation of the Project Sochi Seaport and Coastal Infrastructure Construction to Create an International Freight and Passenger Sea Transportation Center to be Incorporated as a Federal State Enterprise.

The project is being implemented under a RUB7.111 billion (VAT-inclusive) contract from RosMorPort (Russian Seaports) Federal State Unitary Enterprise, signed at the end of May 2012. Scheduled completion: October 2013.

As part of the project, ETS will build two cruise ship berths with the total length of 730 meters, as well as RO/RO ship berths. In addition, ETS will upgrade 10 existing berths, carry out dredging and build a 1,000 m protective pier and a 200 m breakwater.

To improve execution quality and accelerate construction, ETS employs modern technology and high-performance all-weather machinery and equipment.
