OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2012. Alexander Yashnik has been appointed Senior Vice-President – Director of the Department for financial institutions and trade financing of the Bank of Moscow.

Alexander Yashnik was born in 1975 in Leningrad. In 1998, he graduated from the St Petersburg State Engineering and Economics Academy as an Engineer-economist. In 2000, he obtained an MBA in International Business from Central Connecticut State University, USA.

He joins the Bank of Moscow from VTB Bank, where has worked since 2006, most recently heading up the Division for development and co-ordination of corporate business of subsidiary banks in the Subsidiary Banks Department. Before joining VTB, from 2004 through 2006 he worked for the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank in Greece. During the period from 1995 to 2004, he held a variety of positions in banks of Russia, Armenia and Ukraine.
