OREANDA-NEWS.  June 20, 2012. IBA sponsored the contest of internet projects WebProg2012 among school graduates and university entrants, reported the press-centre of IBA.   

Conducted from February to May, 2012 by the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Belarusian State University, the contest consisted of two rounds.

In the first round, 89 teams of secondary schools, colleges, and vocational schools from all regions of Belarus participated. Of these, 47 teams were qualified for the second round.

Three village schools, five city schools, two high schools, two lycees, and the Minsk State Vocational College of Electronics became the winners. Members of the winning teams were given preference for entering the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Belarusian State University.

The winners were honored at the Belarusian State University. Dmitry Medvedev, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, thanked IBA for the support of the contest and gave gifts to the winners.
