The network of Siauliu bankas has been supplemented by one more outlet located in the very heart of Kaunas in the central square of the city - the Rotuses Client Service Centre (CSC) has opened its doors to the private and corporate customers. On the opening occasion the special deposit and payment card campaign shall be launched in the outlet for the period of two months, reported the press-centre of Siauliu Bankas. 

“We would like to provide our clients with the opportunity to access Siauliu bankas easily and conveniently and to handle their financial issue in the very centre of Kaunas. We always do our best to create the pleasant environment to our clients as well - while restoring the premises of Rotuses outlet we have done everything possible to make a cosy space in the building with the rich historic past” - says Mindaugas Pleckaitis, the Head of Kaunas region of Siauliu bankas.

The building located next to the Rotuse, which is affectionately called “the white swan” by the inhabitants of Kaunas, has been built more than four hundred years ago and faced many changes up to nowadays. The building serving as the warehouse basement of the square with the specious shelter and residential corps in the northern corner was severely damaged over the war of 1655 - 1660, however, it was rebuild due to the merchant Tiphenbruk’s funds. Since XVIII century the ground floor premises have been adjusted to commercial activities, while the first floor - to the residential rooms. In the previous century the building was restored by the re-establishing the plans of the basement, Renaissance facades and the northern facade of stores belonging to the Baroque era.

Equipping the premises Siauliu bankas consulted with the community of the Kaunas old town runabout, the employees of the regional outlet of the Cultural heritage department who provided a good piece of advice. The new Rotuses CSC of Siauliu bankas is equipped according to the requirements set to the modern client servicing, however, the part of the brick wall dated back to XVI c. was opened as well as the dark massive wooden ceiling beams were maintained seeking to maintain authenticity of the building. Moreover, the hammered door handles and other details were made according the analogues and the windows and door were renovated.

All typical banking services shall be rendered in the Rotuses CSC of Siauliu bankas - the clients will be able placing various types of deposits, exchanging the currency, paying the taxes, acquiring a payment card, opening a bank account, consulting regarding lending and other issues. There is an Internet access installed in the Rotuses CSC for the customers’ convenience where connecting to the banking system “SB linija” they will be able performing necessary payments, verifying account balances and executing other financial information.

On the opening occasion the special campaign for private and corporate customers of the Rotuses Client Service Centre shall be launched for two months during which the clients placing the time deposits for the period longer than 6 months will be entitled to 0.2 per cent higher deposit interest than in other bank’s outlets. Besides,  those, who will be interested in acquiring “Visa Electron” and “Maestro” payment cards, will receive them without an issuance fee during the campaign.

The new outlet of Siauliu bankas in Kaunas, located on Rotuses aikste 1, will be servicing clients between 09.00 am and   06.00 pm on business days and between 09.00 am and   01.00 pm on Saturdays.
