OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2012. Shandong Airlines has signed a code-share agreement with ANA Group, Japan’s largest airline. The agreement was signed between Ma Chongxian, President and CEO of Shandong Airlines, and Shinichiro Ito, President CEO of ANA, and in Beijing, reported the press-centre of Shandong Airlines. 

In this early summer, passengers will be able to book with Shandong Airlines to travel on ANA operated services between Osaka’s Kansai and Qingdao, Tokyo’s Narita and Qingdao. ANA will place its flight code on Shandong Airlines operated flights between Kansai and Jinan.
Ma Chongxian, President and CEO of Shandong Airlines, said: "Japan is now one of our most popular long-haul destinations, and this agreement with ANA signifies the importance of Japan in the Shandong Airlines network and the possibility to transport our customers to other important destinations in Japan."

Shinichiro Ito, ANA President and CEO, said, "We are pleased to welcome Shandong Airlines as our code-share partner and look forward to cooperating with each other on our Japanese and Chinese networks. This will give our customers access to a wider network."
