OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2012.  CJSC SIBUR-Holding officially recognized PJSC Stroytransgaz winner of two lots of the tender for construction of Purovo Condensate Processing Plant (CPP) -Tobolsk Fuel and Petrochemical Refinery (FPCR) product pipeline, where PJSC Stroytransgaz is planning to build a 163 km section of the facilities. Zapsibtransgaz Ltd. will be the direct customer of the project.

The construction will be performed in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, from Railway Loading Rack in Noyabrsk (27 km from the block valve station) to the scraper launcher-receiver station, located at 190 km near Kogalym. 530 mm diameter pipes will be used for the construction. The pipeline is planned to be performed with double joints which will be welded during summertime at the double jointing yard.

Construction deadlines are tight, and the works must be completed in September 2013. Swampy soils require that the main works be performed during wintertime (November 2012 – April 2013).

Now Stroytransgaz has set to the pipeline route acceptance. The resources of PJSC Stroytransgaz’ subsidiary companies - OJSC Urengoytruboprovod and OJSC STG-Ural - will be involved in the project implementation. About 400 pieces of equipment and 900 specialists will be mobilized.

The new Purovo Condensate Processing Plant (CPP) -Tobolsk Fuel and Petrochemical Refinery (FPCR) product pipeline is intended for transportation of broad fraction of light hydrocarbons (BFLH), which are used as petrochemical feed in the production of plastics, synthetic rubber, organic synthesis products and gas engine fuel production.

This pipeline construction is one of the major investment projects under the state program of oil and gas chemistry development in Russia. Stroytransgaz is planning to be an active participant in this industry, including construction and expansion of processing capacities, and formation of the product pipeline infrastructure. In this project, Stroytransgaz can fully apply its experience and resources: since 1990 the company has built over 13 000 km of pipelines and other facilities in 20 countries of the world.
