OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2012. The Russian Telecom Equipment Company (RTEC) participated in the 8th specialized forum "Modern Security Systems - Antiterror" which was held from May 30 to June 1 in the city of Krasnoyarsk with support by FSB, Minisrty of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Krasnoyarsk Region.  The event was organized by the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, the Administration of the Governor, the Government and the Antiterrorist Commission of the Krasnoyarsk Region, and the administration of Krasnoyarsk.  The main purpose of the Forum was to consolidate public forces confronting terrorism and to create favourable conditions for the development of cooperation and business interactions between public safety and security professionals.  

In the exhibition area of the Forum, RTEC demonstrated complex automated security system (CASS) deployed in Krasnoyarsk on the initiative of the regional administration.  The system called "Secure City" helps to build a unified information space for the entire city of Kransoyarsk and to ensure interdepartmental interactions of various government agencies.  This will ensure early reaction to emerging threats and notify management of special services and law enforcement agencies about emergency situations.  As a result, reliable protection is established for the critical objects of the city.

 The RTEC booth was visited by the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Lev Kuznetsov, deputy governor Igor Chernokov, head of FSB department in the Krasnoyarsk Region Vitaly Trushev,  head of the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Krasnoyarsk Region Ildar Jurayev, minister of informatics and communications of in the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexei Turov, deputy head of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Krasnoyarsk Region Konstantin Yurin and other representatives of Krasnoyarsk administration.  During the visit, RTEC executives demonstrated the capabilities and benefits of KASUB.

RTEC’s representatives also took part in the business part of the Forum.  Andrei Badalov, first deputy director general of RTEC, made a report at the plenary session "Security on Transport". In his presentation he explained RTEC's approach to designing security systems for critically important infrastructure objects.

 At the official closing ceremony the Russian Telecom Equipment Company received a diploma and a medal for the the development and deployment of the complex automated security system in Krasnoyarsk.  The award was delivered to RTEC representatives by deputy governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Igor Chernokov.
