In Yekaterinburg at Hayatt Regency Yekaterinburg a business conference was held under the heading of "New products of the Bank of Moscow for corporate business clients: crediting, finance trade, company liquidity management", and a press conference devoted to the development of small and medium size business of the Bank of Moscow in the Ural Federal District.

The event was attended by Vladimir Voeikov, Member of the Board, Senior Executive Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow, Andrey Germanov, Member of the Board, Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow, Tatyana Esaulkova, Director, Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow, Mayor of Yekaterinburg, representatives of the Sverdlovsk Region Government and the Legislative Assembly, heads of enterprises of the city and the Sverdlovsk Region.

In his speech Vladimir Voeikov, Member of the Board, Senior Executive Vice-President of the Bank of Moscow, noted that one of the Bank’s priorities was business development in the small and medium size business (SMB) segment including maximum integration in the economy of the Russian regions and cooperation with municipalities. The 2012 strategic goals of the Bank of Moscow in the Ural Federal District in the SMB segment are a threefold growth of the SMB credit portfolio, resource portfolio from the SMB clients to be increased by 47%, a 30% growth of the number of clients. To attain said goals today the Bank of Moscow has various credit programmes developed to support small and medium size business companies, and an expanded product line developed to manage companies’ free funds.

A special place in the business strategy of the Bank of Moscow is given to cooperation with one of the biggest electronic auction operators, i.e. OAO United Electronic Trading Facility. The UETF assures equal access to governmental orders for both major enterprises, SMB companies and individual entrepreneurs irrespective of their location. In May 2012 the Bank of Moscow offered its clients, participants of electronic auctions, said line having a RUR 35 mln debt limit.

According to Tatyana Esaulkova, the Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow rates amongst the first ten branches of the Bank in terms of the number of SMB clients (over 3500 clients) and is a leader in the provision of services to corporate business clients in the Ural region.

The Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow occupies a leading position with regard to the key financial indicators among the Bank’s branch network. Thus according to the results of Q1 of 2012 the branch holds the 1st place in terms of profits, the 1st place in terms of the resource base, the 2nd place in terms of the number of clients, and the 3rd place in terms of the credit portfolio volume.

The Yekaterinburg Branch was organised in June 1999 and today is the Bank’s basic branch in the Ural Federal District. The branch’s unit network covers the cities of Tumen, Surgut, Salekhard, Nizhny Tagil, Verkhnaya Salda, Pervouralsk and Sredneuralsk. The total number of the branch’s units includes 17 sales points with 12 out of this number being full format offices providing a wide range of services to legal entities and individuals.
