OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2012. World Bank kept its forecast unchanged on the growth of gross domestic production of Uzbekistan in 2012-2013.

The World Bank’s new report “Global Economic Prospects (GEP) 2012” said that economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 8% in 2012 and 6.5% in 2013.

In line with the forecasts of the World Bank specialists, the GDP of Uzbekistan will also increase by 6.5% in 2014.

According to the report, current account balance of Uzbekistan will make up 4.4% to GDP in 2012 and 4.4% in 2013. The figure will reach 4.5% in 2014, according to the World Bank estimates.

Earlier, the World Bank forecasted that current account balance of Uzbekistan will make up 7% to GDP in 2012 and 6% in 2013.
