OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2012. Belarus and Russia are set to establish a joint potash company entitled Soyuzkali (United Potash Company) by late 2012, Belarus’ First Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko told BelTA.

The first vice premier said: “An unambiguous decision has been made. Our president has approved of the idea. Instructions have been given to start practical implementation of the project, which means the registration of an enterprise and so on”. In his words, the Belarusian and Russian sides are starting to adjust details of the project. Minor things like the draft agreement and the draft charter have yet to be addressed, he added. The authorized fund of the future company will be evenly formed by Belarus and Russia.

The official said they are planning to complete the foundation of the Belarusian-Russian company by the end of the year. And somewhere in Q1 2013 Soyuzkali will start working, Vladimir Semashko believes.
