OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2012. According to Russian Federal Air Transport Agency Rosaviatsia, UTair-Express, a subsidiary of the UTair Group, has been determined to be the most punctual carrier following the results of a survey among airlines concluded in August 2012.

Over the survey period UTair-Express experienced delays in only 2.37% of the airlines scheduled flights, most being only short delays. Transaero Airlines and Rossiya Airlines ranked second and third with flight delay ratios of 2.38% and 2,4% respectively.

The UTair Group includes airlines conducting passenger and cargo operations with fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft as well as enterprises offering MRO, personnel training, flight services and air transportation sales services. UTair Aviation is the Group's core enterprise and includes UTair-Express, UTair-Ukraine, UTair-Cargo, Turukhan, JSC Nefteyuganskiy, Vostok, Helisur, UTair Europe, UTair South Africa and UTair India as well as UTair-Technichs, UTair-Engineering and other enterprises. The fleet of the Group includes more than 550 aircraft - more than 200 fixed wing planes and more than 350 helicopters. UTair Group revenue for 2011 amounted to 54,126 mln rubles, an estimated 27.6% increase in revenue over 2010. Net profit for 2011 grew 21.2%% over 2010 to 261.2 mln rubles.
