OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. On November 29 a press conference of the Bank of Moscow entitled "New Strategy of the Bank of Moscow in the Far East" took place in the press centre of the Interfax-Far East agency in Khabarovsk.

The press conference was attended by Migel Markariants, Director of the Department for Retail Sales in Bank of Moscow network; Eugeniy Monin, Head of the Directorate for Development of the Regional Business of the Bank of Moscow, and also Andrey Shestakov, Director of the Bank of Moscow branch in Khabarovsk.

According to the press conference participants, the key tasks of the Bank of Moscow as part of VTB Group for 2012 include high tempos of the credit operation growth and attraction of resources, implementation of the advanced practices of the group in the sales area, and enhancement of the business process efficiency in the network.

Eugeniy Monin marked in his speech that the main emphasis in the Bank's activities is laid on the business development in the segment of the medium and small enterprises: special sales model is introduced, Banks product are offered proceeding from the regional enterprises' needs. The Bank of Moscow highlights innovational and hi-tech products and services for serving small and medium businesses in its development.

"Considering attractiveness of the regional market (Khabarovsk Region ranks 34th among the Russian regions in the rated Gross Regional Product volume) the Bank of Moscow plans to become one of the in serving small and medium businesses in the region. Currently the Khabarovsk branch of the Bank of Moscow is universal and offers a wide range of financial services to the corporate and private clients", — Eugeniy Monin emphasized.

"The corporate portfolio (small and medium businesses) as at 12.11.2012 reaches 1347 million roubles (growth since the beginning of 2012 amounted to 830 million roubles). In view of the intense development of the Khabarovsk branch it has been recently decided to make the branch a regional centre for credit solutions (centre of competencies) for 4 branches of the Bank (in Vladivostok, Kamchatka, South-Sakhalinsk and Yakutia)", — Andrey Shestakov stated.

As Migel Markariants marked, VTB Group is a leader in the quality of the retail client service. All best practices of VTB Group are planned to be implemented in the network of the Bank of Moscow branches by the end of this year. One of the primary goals of the Bank’s retail business is drastic improvement of the client service quality.
