OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2012. As prescribed by Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012", social standards are going to be increased this December.

Thus, average living wage will be UAH 1095 as from December 1 compared to UAH 953.0 for last year’s same period.

The living wage for children under six years old is UAH 961 compared to UAH 870 for the same period 2011; for children between 6 and 18 years old - UAH 1197 compared to UAH 1042 for  December 2011, for able-bodied persons - UAH 1134 (UAH 1004 for December 2011), for disabled persons - UAH 884 (UAH 800 for December 2011).

There is also an increase of birth grant this period. Thus, birth grants are:

- for the first child - UAH 28,830 (UAH 26,100 for December 2011);
- for the second child - UAH 57,660 (UAH 52,2000 for December 2011);
- for the third and subsequent child – UAH 115,320.0 (UAH 104,400.0 for December 2011).

As from December 1, maternity grant is increasing for uninsured women up to UAH 1190.7 compared to UAH 1054.2 for the same period 2011.

Also, child allowance is about to increase for unmarried mothers as from December 1 including:

- for children under six years old – up to UAH 480.0;
- for children between 6 and 18 years old – up to UAH 598.5;
- for students above 18 and under 23 years old – up to UAH 567.


Besides, allowance is growing for children under custody making, for December 2012, UAH 1992.0 (for children under six years old) and UAH 2394.0 (for children between 6 and 18 years old).

In December, allowance will also increase for people disabled from childhood and disabled children including the allowance with the care bonus as follows:

for the 1st group (subgroup А) - UAH 1547.0;
for the 1st group (subgroup В) - UAH 1326.0;
for the 2nd and 3rd group - UAH 884.0.

With the care bonus included, allowance for disabled children will be as follows:

- for children under six years old - UAH 1099.3, and UAH 1408.7 for children affected by Chornobyl disaster;
- for children between 6 and 18 years old – UAH 1217.3, and respectively, UAH 1526.7 for those affected by Chornobyl disaster.
