OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2012. Transaero continues to strengthen its presence at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow by increasing the number of routes and the frequency of flights.

Cooperation between Transaero and Vnukovo began in February this year with the signing of a memorandum for strategic partnership. Transaero performed its first flight from Moscow Vnukovo Airport in April. Today Transaero operates flights from Vnukovo to 12 destinations, including St. Petersburg, YYekaterinburg, Astana, Almaty, Tel Aviv, Rome, Milan, Venice, Paris, London, Pardubice and Barcelona. The largest passenger traffic was recorded on the Transaero’s routes from Vnukovo airport to Tel Aviv, Rome, Paris and Milan.

In 2013 Transaero will take further steps to enhance its customer services through the new opportunities at the excellent transfer facilities recently opened in the new Terminal A at Vnukovo. Within this large, modern transit center Transaero intends to optimize its connecting flight schedule for flights between cities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the US and Western Europe for convenience and comfort of passengers. Transaero will also launch flights from Vnukovo to New York, Miami, Frankfurt and other destinations. Tickets for forthcoming connecting flights are already available for sale.

Also in 2013 Transaero will open a new information and passenger service center in Moscow Vnukovo Airport. These centers are well-known among the passengers and are easily recognized as they are designed in corporate brand colours and have large aquariums with fish installed to the reception desks.

Transaero development strategy is focused on Moscow Vnukovo Airport as an elite service hub for passengers flying in the premium class segment. Successful cooperation between Transaero Airlines and Moscow Vnukovo Airport has very positive perspectives for this rapidly developing segment.
