OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. A public auction was held in Moscow on 21 December 2012 for the sale of 25% minus 3 shares of the Central Suburban Passenger Company, a subsidiary Russian Railways.

Two applications to participate in the auction were submitted, both of which were accepted.

The stake in the Central Suburban Passenger Company was sold to the Moscow Passenger Company Ltd. for 780 million roubles after bidding began at a starting price of 769 million roubles.

The auction was conducted in accordance with Russian Government Decree No. 1973-r issued on 10 November 2011 and a decision of the Board of Directors of Russian Railways (Minutes No. 17 dated 29 October 2012).

The auction was organised by TransCreditBank.
