OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, a European mobile operator, and Sberbank of Russia have summed up results of Autopay service in 2012. Over the past four months, the number of its users has surpassed 500,000 people. On average, mobile payments at Sberbank exceed by 25% sums topped up alternatively.

The Autopay service is exhibiting snowballing popularity among Tele2 users – every day, 4,000 more clients are signing up for the service. Over 500,000 people have subscribed to the automatic payment over four months after the launch. The service is most actively used by Tele2 subscribers in Voronezh, Kemerovo, Omsk, Rostov and Chelyabinsk regions.

Tele2 customers subscribed to Autopay service may automatically top up their mobile account when the balance approaches the pre-set limit level (from 10 to 50 rubles). Besides, subscribers set the refill amount ranging from 50 to 10,000 rubles.

The funds are transferred from the Sberbank international card onto the Tele2 balance account. The Autopay service may be set at several phone numbers. Tele2 charges no subscription fee and payments commission.

Sberbank clients may sign up for Autopay free of charge at the bank’s terminals and ATMs, by using Sberbank Online service or sending an SMS to short code 900.
