1. Domestic Production
Mazda's total domestic production volume in January 2013 increased 8.0% compared to January 2012 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles - Mazda3 (Axela): 22,302 units (down 12.4% year-on-year), CX-5: 19,285 units (up 47.2% year-on-year), Mazda6 (Atenza): 12,570 units (up 313.5% year-on-year).

2. Overseas Production
Mazda's overseas production volume in January 2013 decreased 7.2% compared to January 2012, reflecting decreased production of passenger cars - Mazda6: 9,273 units (down 28.5% year-on-year), BT-50: 5,689 units (up 91.7% year-on-year), Mazda3: 5,672 units (down 12.2% year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in January 2013 increased 1.7% compared to January 2012, due to increased sales of passenger cars.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.5% (up 0.6 points year-on-year), with a 3.3% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.3 points year-on-year) and a 4.6% total market share (up 0.4 points year-on-year). Domestic sales of key models in January 2013 - Mazda2 (Demio): 4,068 units (down 23.6% year-on-year), CX-5: 2,409 units, Mazda6 (Atenza): 1,320 units (up 421.7% year-on-year).

Mazda's export volume in January 2013 increased 10.3% year-on-year, reflecting increased shipments to North America, Europe and others.
