OMZ Passed Planned Examination by American Bureau of Shipping
OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ Special Steels, part of OMZ Group, succeeded to pass planned examination of blacksmithery production for shipbuilding. The procedure has been conducted by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
ABS classification society founded in 1861 is a member of International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), has got an international recognition and proclaims high standards for quality and security.
The examination of OMZ Special Steels production became another proof of high quality of its metallurgical products for shipbuilding industry.
The production for shipbuilding industry by OMZ Special Steels has been certified by the following IACS members: Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (Russia), Russian River Register (Russia), Lloyd's Register of Shipping (Great Britain), Germanischer Lloyd (Germany), Bureau Veritas (France), Registro Italiano Navale (Italy).
