OREANDA-NEWS. Deutsche Telekom, Materna and SPHINX Computers will be providing advice at the Hanover Trade Fair in Hall 008, Stand D30 from April 8 to 12

At the Hanover Trade Fair, M2M solution partners Deutsche Telekom, Materna and SPHINX Computers are showing how manufacturers of machines and systems can optimize their processes, monitor and manage their machines and systems remotely controlled, and thereby avoid or minimize expensive outages and the resulting costs.

"We have a stand at the Hanover Trade Fair for the first time because, together with our partners, we want to highlight opportunities that arise from combining traditional industry with communications solutions and the Internet. And not in some abstract way, but rather concretely for every conceivable business model," said Jьrgen Hase, head of Deutsche Telekom's M2M Competence Center.

The versatility of M2M communication and the various opportunities it opens up can be leveraged to support and optimize all kinds of business models and processes. At the stand, visitors will be able to consult experts one-to-one about where and how M2M can improve their business for the future to gain a decisive competitive edge.

When advising on solutions, Deutsche Telekom can draw on its high-availability networks, systems integration and expertise from the M2M Competence Center, and Materna on its expertise in realizing integrated IT solutions for optimizing processes in companies and for public-sector customers. SPHINX Computers, a Europe-wide provider of hardware and communications solutions rounds off the offer with an interesting selection of specialist communications hardware.

The area of M2M is one of the most important growth drivers for telecommunications companies. In the field of manufacturing and supply chain alone, industry analysts from the consulting firm Machina Research forecast that their use will double from around 80 million connected machines today to 175 million end of 2020.
