OREANDA-NEWS. Passenger car wholesales fell 5.1% year on year to 856.1 thousand units in January-April 2013, according to ASM Holding analysts. Sales of domestic models fell 11.6% to 167.6 thousand units, and their market share reduced to 19.6% from 21.0%. Sales of locally assembled foreign models grew by 4.5% to 423.8 thousand units, and their market share expanded by 4.5 points to 49.5%. Sales of imported new foreign cars were down 13.7% to 262.3 thousand units, and their market share declined by 3.1 points to 30.6%. The share of used vehicles remained at 0.3% of the car market.
