OREANDA-NEWS. According to preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 3 038.4 million as of 31 May 2013.

The international reserve converted in foreign currency totals USD2 822.1 million as of 31 May, including that floated as securities – USD 1 859.2 million as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) – USD 962.9 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totals USD 216.4 million. Reserve position with IMF totals USD 15.0 thousand.

Since 2013, the NBG international reserve was increased by USD 165.4 million and reached the historic maximum.
