They conveyed the best wishes to the staff of 20MCC Group, and learned in details the overall construction program of the project.

At the conference room of SMI Management Center, Liu Jianchao stated that, the Smelting Industry Park jointly constructed by Decent Investment Group of China and Bintang Delapan Group of Indonesia would play an essential driving role in enhancing the technical level of metallurgical industry and promoting the development of the other relevant industries in this country.

According to the Ambassador, this project would turn out to be a new starting point for Sino-Indonesia cooperation in trading business and the manufacturing sectors, and would open a brand new chapter for the economic collaboration between both parties. Liu believed that, SMI would redouble efforts in offering more benefits and better services to the local people.
Mr. Putu Suryawirawan said, the whole country of Indonesia had achieved little progress in promotion of industrial growth since 1984.

On this jobsite, not only a plant, but also a new city would be built up. He expected that, by means of the assistance provided by Chinese Embassy and Chinese enterprises, as well as the Chinese experiences, the new city could be constructed on a quality basis.
