OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, reports that Roman Volodin has been appointed as Tele2 Russia chief commercial officer. Roman earlier held the post of the Tele2 Russia product director.

In his new position Roman Volodin will be in charge of outlining and implementing Tele2 Russia commercial strategy. He will also take part in developing promising directions of the company’s business.

 At the CCO post, Roman will supervise drawing up the marketing strategy, creating and launching new products, developing distribution network and internet channel. Besides, Roman Volodin will be responsible for improving customer loyalty and customer service.

Roman has worked in Tele2 for many years and knows the company’s business from inside. His appointment to the post of chief commercial officer will help us achieve succession of operational decisions and preserve our unique corporate culture”.

 Roman Volodin was born in 1977 in Moscow. In 1999 he graduated from the Moscow State University of Management with a degree in marketing.

 From 1999 to 2002 Roman Volodin held leading positions in the commercial department of the Netway fixed-line operator.

 From 2002 to 2005 he worked in MTS where he headed the group of the tariff policy.

 In 2005 Roman joined Tele2 Russia as product director. Under Roman’s guidance, Tele2 revised Tele2 products in favor of a more effective product portfolio with simple and transparent tariffs. In 2010 Roman was nominated for the “Employee of the Year” award by Tele2 AB.

 In 2013 Roman Volodin was appointed as Tele2 Russia chief commercial officer.
