OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2013. Students of Russian higher educational schools on a trainee job in Kola MMC, who take part in the Professional start corporate program of MMC Norilsk Nickel  have accomplished the stage of getting acquainted with the work of basic facilities of Kola MMC.

This is the third year of the Professional start program at Kola MMC premises being one of the objectives an opportunity for the future engineers to bring to life the knowledge acquired at studies at production sites thus gaining first professional experience. This year 70 students from leading higher educational schools of Russia teaching the skills called-for by Kola MMC, took part in the Professional start program.

Apart from skills training, the students got acquainted with the complete production circle of the Company – from ore mining to market metal. The students made get-to-know tours of basic refineries and got acquainted with the production and technological processes. Professional start program promoters are sure that this format of  getting familiarized with the production enables the future engineers with better understanding of the peculiarities of the chosen profession, as well as details of non-ferrous metals production in general.
