OREANDA-NEWS. PrivatBank implemented a new format of servicing clients using iPad in its outlets. Using portable iPads instead of desktop computers will allow serving clients efficiently and without queues. And simplicity and clearness of operations will encourage clients to learn making payments via Internet or self-service terminals by themselves.

“We have started moving to open space client servicing in the outlets without offices and narrowly focused specialists since the beginning of the year, and today a bank officer is no longer “tied” to a chair and a computer and can work with a client anywhere in the outlet - on a couch in the waiting zone without creating queues,” - says Oleg Gorokhovsky, PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. - “When clients see how easy it is to pay a bill or replenish a deposit using iPad they definitely will want to try to do it themselves using a tablet, smartphone or home computer.”

PrivatBank officers in the outlets provide customers with the most popular services using iPad - from issuing a credit card and opening a deposit up to paying utility bills and booking tickets for transport. In addition, in any bank’s outlet employees will help customers to download and install PrivatBank’s payment software applications on a personal smartphone or tablet.

PrivatBank is one of the largest developers of mobile payment applications in Ukraine, its top applications Privat24 and iPay lead in popularity rating of banking applications among Ukrainian iPhone and Android users. Among the most interesting PrivatBank’s developments submitted in recent months there are SendMoney for quick money transferring with voice activated control and automatic templates memorization, Fotokassa for paying bills using photo camera of a mobile phone and other applications.

According to the bank’s survey conducted among more than 2 million customers, today every fourth of PrivatBank’s clients actively uses smartphone or tablet. And experts predict that the number of active users of smartphones will be overwhelming at the end of 2014.
