OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group (RTS, MICEX: DIXY) - one of Russia's leading retailers of foods and everyday products - today announced revenue growth of 21,2% in Russian rubles (20,3% in USD) in July 2013, and retail revenue growth of 23.1% in Russian rubles (21.7% in USD) for the first seven months of 2013.

For the first seven months of 2013, DIXY Group Retail Revenue increased to RUR 101.4 bln (USD 3.2 bln) by 23.1% in RUR (21.7% in USD) year-on-year.

Please, note that our stores operated 2 days less for the first seven months of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012:

The stores were closed for New Year holiday on January 1, 2013, but were opened on January 1, 2012.

The stores operated one day less in February 2013 compared to last year, as 2012 year was a leap year.

The two-day difference affected the Company's revenue growth for the first seven months by 1.2% year-on-year. Thus, the retail revenue growth for the first seven months of 2013 adjusted for the two-day difference would be 24.3% year-on-year in rubles.

In July 2013, DIXY Group Retail Revenue increased to RUR 14.8 bln (USD 453.2 mln) by 21.2% in RUR (20.3% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 11.5 bln (USD 352.5 mln) by 42.7% in RUR (41.6% in USD) in July 2013 compared to July 2012. The growth was driven mainly by DIXY chain organic expansion, and helped by re-branding of ex-Victoria neighborhood stores into DIXY banner throughout 2012.

Retail revenue of Victoria Division decreased to RUR 2.0 bln (USD 60.4 mln) in July 2013 from RUR 3.0 bln (USD 92.3 mln) in July 2012. This decline was caused mainly by Victoria neighborhood stores transfer into DIXY banner in 2012, which led to the reduction of the neighborhood stores number in Victoria Division to 44 stores in July 2013 from 183 stores in July 2012. As a result, retail revenue from Victoria neighborhood stores decreased year-on-year by 77.8% in RUR (78.0% in USD) to RUR 364.1 mln (USD 11.1 mln) in July 2013.

In July 2013, retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets amounted to RUR 1.5 bln (USD 47.3 mln), demonstrating 21.9% growth in RUR (21.1% in USD).

Retail revenue from cash&carry store CASH amounted to RUR 64.4 mln (USD 2.0 mln) in July 2013 compared to RUR 88.9 mln (USD 2.7 mln) in July 2012.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.3 bln (USD 40.4 mln) by 14.3% in RUR (13.4% in USD) year-on-year in July 2013. The growth was driven mainly by MegaMart compact hypermarkets retail revenue, which increased to RUR 1.0 bln (USD 31.8 mln) by 14.2% in RUR (13.4% in USD). MiniMart stores retail revenue increased to RUR 282.4 mln (USD 8.6 mln) by 14.5% in RUR (13.7% in USD).
