OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 1.4% on the year in January-July 2013 to 340.1 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 38.128 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-July 2013 decreased 4.5% on the year to Br352.6 trillion (USD 39.529 billion).

Farm output reduced 4.1% to Br45 trillion (USD 5.045 billion).

The government plans to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.

In 2012, Belarus' GDP grew 1.5% on the year to 527.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 59.126 billion).
