OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2013. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Moldovan exports to Russia amounted to USD379.4 million, 6.4% up as compared with the same period of 2012.

At the same time, Moldova imported from Russia goods at an amount of USD 434.9 million, 6.7% down. The share of Russia in the total amount of export from Moldova decreased from 29.6% to 28.7%, its share in the import declining from 16.2% to 14.2% in January-July, 2013.

Moldova traditionally exports to Russia wine, cognac, canned fruit and vegetables, juice. Moldova imports from Russia energy mostly. The data by NBS leaves aside trade operations of enterprises of the Transdniestrian region.
