OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has summed up results of using Autopay service. The number of users has exceeded 1.25 million people.

With the Autopay service launched in autumn 2012, Tele2 subscribers may automatically top up mobile account by a Sberbank card. Around four thousand subscribers are signing up for the service daily.

On average, mobile payments at Sberbank exceed by 25% sums topped up alternatively. Since 2013, the number of payments at Sberbank has increased 10%.

Autopay users normally exhibit ARPU that surpasses other clients’ rate by 10%.

Tele2 subscribers from Chelyabinsk, Rostov, Kemerovo and Omsk are more active in connecting Autopay service. Such regions as Arkhangelsk, Izhevsk, Murmansk and Smolensk lead in users/subscriber base rate.

On Autopay

The Autopay service provides Tele2 subscribers with an opportunity to automatically top up mobile account when the remaining amount drops to a threshold amount, which can be 10, 30 or 50 rubles depending on the choice of subscribers. At the same time, subscribers choose the sum of automatic top-ups ranging from 50 to 15000 rubles.

The money is transferred from a Sberbank card onto the Tele2 subscriber account. The Autopay service allows users to top up not only one’s mobile account but also those of his relatives and friends. Connection to the service is free, no commission is charged for the Autopay use.

Sberbank clients may connect Autpay by using terminals and cashier machines or Sberbank online as well as by sending an SMS to a short number 900.
