OREANDA-NEWS. Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) announces the introduction of new Saturday seasonal services from New York’s JFK airport to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, Antigua, and Grenada. Delta is introducing this service as a response to an increased demand for more connections between United States cities and those Caribbean tourist destinations.

“The Caribbean is very important to Deltaґs success and the airline is diligently working to meet customers’ expectations by offering increased connectivity, enhanced on-board services and state-of-the-art technology applied to travel,” said Maria Fernanda Price, regional manager for Delta in the Caribbean. “Delta is New York City’s largest and fastest growing carrier, providing service to more destinations from New York-JFK and New York-LaGuardia combined than any other airline.”

Customers traveling to the Caribbean may also enjoy the benefits of Delta’s new Terminal 4 at JFK International Airport which opened on May 24 and is part of a USD 1.4 billion redevelopment project. The new terminal includes experience improvements such as nine new and seven renovated international gates; improved and renovated check-in areas, including a dedicated Sky Priority check-in area; an enlarged and centralized security checkpoint; new retail and dining options from some of New York’s most well-known chefs; and a new, 24,000-square-foot, flagship Delta Sky Club with the first-ever Sky Deck rooftop terrace.
