The new store offers over 20,000 food and non-food items and it contains goods from 40 local producers, guaranteeing direct delivery of high-quality regional products.

Goods are offered on a sales floor of 3,900 sq.m. in a store that covers a total area of 7,200 sq.m. The customer experience is enhanced by access to improved product shelf layouts which display a larger number of goods, 300 car parking spots, while 31 cash registers ensure a swift and efficient check-out. The store is open 24 hours a day.

Increased customer loyalty reflects Lenta's growing commitment to the Samara region

In the six years since the first Lenta store was launched in the region, the number of customers loyal to Lenta has increased almost fourfold. The increase in sales area in the Samara region strengthens Lenta's ability to satisfy its customers' need for high-quality products at reasonable prices. The latest store opening has further contributed to the local economy by creating 250 new jobs in the region.

The opening of Lenta's second hypermarket in Togliatti, increases the number of stores in Lenta's chain to 72 stores in 39 Russian cities.

Lenta [Lenta Ltd. and or Lenta LLC or other wholly owned entities] is one of the largest retail chains in Russia and the country's second largest hypermarket chain (in terms of 2012 sales). The company was founded in 1993 in St. Petersburg. Today, Lenta operates 67 hypermarkets and 5 supermarkets in 39 cities across Russia with a total of approximately 440,000 sq.m. retail trade space. The average Lenta hypermarket store has retail trading space of 6,500 sq.m and the company employs 22,000 people.
