OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 1.1% on the year in January-October 2013 to 505.9 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 54.574 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-October 2013 decreased 4.6% on the year to Br505.1 trillion (USD 54.488 billion).

Farm output reduced 3.1% to Br93.3 trillion (USD 10.065 billion).

The government plans to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.

In 2012, Belarus' GDP grew 1.5% on the year to 527.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 56.893 billion).
