OREANDA-NEWS.   Sydney Airport today opened a new multi-storey car park at its Domestic terminal, providing more choice, convenience and value for travellers in time for the Christmas holiday period.

The new car park provides an additional 964 car parking spaces, with a total of more than 16,700 spaces now available across Sydney Airport’s International and Domestic terminals, including the Blu Emu Car Park.

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve introduced a suite of discounted online deals with great savings of up to 73 per cent available to customers who pre-book online,” Sydney Airport Chief Executive Officer, Kerrie Mather, said.

“This year alone, more than 200,000 customers have taken advantage of these savings and the opening of our new Car Park P3 at the Domestic terminal means that even more customers can save on parking over the Christmas holiday period.

“Our new car park is just a few minutes’ additional walk to the Domestic terminal compared to our existing Car Parks P1 and P2, so it’s a convenient and cost-effective option for domestic travellers.

“This new car park will provide additional space and enable Sydney Airport to offer even better value car parking deals to both drive-up and pre-book online customers.

“Our aim is to provide customers with value and choice when accessing Sydney Airport. We continue to advocate for cheaper train fares and additional public buses, we’ve upgraded taxi facilities, and we now have an even greater range of parking deals.

“The opening of our new car park and special deals are part of our strategy to deliver greater value across our car parks and develop new product offerings.

“Customers who pre-book their parking online can access opening specials at P3 from less than USD 10 a day until 15 January 2014, while drive-up customers can save almost 20 per cent off the standard rate with parking available for just USD 45 per calendar day.”

The opening pre-book online specials start from USD 99 for up to seven days (around USD 14 a day) and from USD 139 for up to 15 days (less than USD 10 a day).
