OREANDA-NEWS. Following the meeting held on 2 December 2013, the Board of Directors of Uralkali (LSE: URKA; the Company), one of the world's largest potash producers, has made the following decisions.

The Board of Directors has re-elected Alexander Voloshin as Chairman and Sir Robert Margetts as Deputy Chairman of the Board.

The members of the Board have formed Board Committees, all of which continue to include independent directors.

Uralkali's Board has also elected the Management Board. The composition of the Management Board remains unchanged.

Uralkali is one of the world's largest potash producers with a share of about 20% in global potash production. The Company's assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Region, Russia). Uralkali employs ca.11,800 people (in the main production unit). Uralkali's shares and GDRs are traded on the Moscow Exchange and LSE, respectively.
