The MCSP CEO Alexander Mas'ko comments, “In 2013, cargoes were transshipped concurrently with building-and-assembly work carried out to modernize the second cargo area facilities. To date the railways have been extended to increase the railway unloading fronts, extra warehouse spaces have been established, new processing equipment has been put into operation. Ongoing efforts are taken to improve operating efficiency of the business and to reduce costs. Synchronized cooperation with consignors and the Russian Railways (OAO RZhD) also made an essential contribution.”
