OREANDA-NEWS. Land Rover launched Hibernot - an online hub for winter trails, walks and activities up and down the UK. The site launched with over 80 Land Rover supported activities that are set to take place in Britain this winter along with a series of seasonal trails perfect for a family day out whatever the weather. Visitors to the site are encouraged to add to this bank of activities by adding their favourite events and trails, and people can share their experiences via social media with the hashtag #hibernot.

The Hibernot hub - www.hibernot.co.uk <http://www.hibernot.co.uk> - is a resource full of engaging and interactive content curated to inspire visitors to get out and embrace the great outdoors, rather than hibernating until the winter is over. As well as winter events and must-explore trails, the site also maps out a range of dynamic winter drives researched and written by Lonely Planet authors and interviews with Land Rover ambassadors such as British skier Chemmy Alcott who epitomise the Hibernot way of life. The weather forecast for the user's location will automatically show as well as those Hibernot activities and features which are trending in that area.

In the spirit that encourages everyone, everywhere, to be a part of the Hibernot campaign a short film has been produced which features real people enjoying and celebrating the grey and pleasant land that is the UK in the winter. Filmed over two days in Wales, earlier this month, the film captures real people and real everyday British winter adventures.

Officially launched on January 15, 2014, with an 8pm TV spot on ITV, the video will also be shown in picture house and art house cinemas across the country.

Brand ambassadors Julia Bradbury, Lewis Moody, Will Greenwood, Hannah White, Theo Paphitis, George North and Sam Warburton, have all supported the Hibernot campaign encouraging their fans and followers to adopt a 'get out there' spirit by using the hashtag #hibernot on their social media platforms.
