This was discussed during the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Iurie Leanca and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Titus Corlatean, where they discussed issues of cooperation between both countries, the European program of Moldova, as well as situation in the region.

The sides also discussed a number of issues related to strengthening trade and economic turnover and attraction of investments, in the context of European program of Moldova. They also discussed the project of interconnection of energy systems of both countries, construction of bridges across the Prut and other important socio-economic projects.

Iurie Leanca praised the support of Romania, rendered to Moldova to promote its European course, as well as constant support to our country in various areas, including financial support in the amount of 20 million euros, provided by Romania to implement projects in the sector of education.

Titus Corlatean said that agreements on bilateral cooperation were signed within the framework of the second session of Moldovan-Romanian intergovernmental Commission for European integration, will provide a solid basis for strengthening relations between both states.
