OREANDA-NEWS. The net profit of the state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali reduced 5 times on the year in January-December 2013 to Br1.354 billion, which makes an equivalent of USD 136.77 million, according to the company's annual report.

To compare, Belaruskali's 2012 net profit stood at Br6.698 trillion (USD 676.6 million).

The potash company's pre-tax profit stood at Br1.595 trillion (USD 161 million), sales proceeds - Br3.654 trillion (USD 369 million).

The company approved dividend payout for 2013 at Br24.67 billion (USD 2.7 million) to compare with Br919.7 billion in 2012.

The state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali is one of the world's largest manufacturers of potash fertilizers, employing about 18,495 personnel. It operates the Starobinskoye potash salts deposit and comprises four mine groups, auxiliary shops and support units.

Belaruskali controls 16% of the world's potash fertilizer market.
