OREANDA-NEWS.  April 18, 2014. Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) has placed 20th in the rankings of the Kommersant-Dengi journal among Russia’s 100 biggest banks in the amount of capital (on January 1, 2014), with a capital of 41.2 billion rubles, and 22nd in the amount of net assets of 349.3 billion rubles. According to these rankings, the Bank increased its assets by 50% over the year.

The Kommersant-Dengi journal has named Sviaz-Bank 23rd among banks issuing the largest amounts of loans, with 173.6 billion rubles issued in loans, 27.43% of the loan portfolio being taken up by loans to individuals.

The journal has also named Sviaz-Bank 11th among banks making the biggest investments, and 19th among banks making interbank loans.

These figures have been calculated by the journal using its own techniques and may differ from the Bank’s official performance figures calculated by the methodology of the Bank of Russia.
