Representatives of Tverenergo Visit Smolensk Branch of IDGC of Centre
OREANDA-NEWS. Chief of Konakovsky Distribution Zone Sergey Demyanov and Chief of Kalyazinsky Distribution Zone of Tverenergo Dmitry Gerasimov had a working visit to IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division. The initiator of the meeting was Deputy Director for Development and Sale of Services of Smolenskenergo Andrey Zhydenko.
During the visit the power engineers visited the executive office and a number of facilities of the hosting party. The main purpose of the visit was to exchange experience on logistics, transport, construction and reconstruction of power facilities, maintenance of distribution networks and sale of services.
Smolenskenergo was represented by heads of all departments for the sale of services, Chief Engineer of the city of Smolensk Distribution Zone, representatives of the procurement and logistics, and capital construction offices. The guests spoke about the activities and characteristics of their Distribution Zones, discussed the problems of electric energy metering and losses, personnel issues in their units. Also during the visit the representatives of Tverenergo got acquainted with the principles of the customer centric policy in the nearby branch, visited the Smolensk Customer Service Centre. The modern CSC was presented to the attention of the colleagues, equipped with the latest technology, and the work with customers of the branch was demonstrated.
Urgent problems for the two branches to take over functions of a retail company in the regions of their service area were discussed.

Work in any branch is built on its own and comparison of the features sometimes is useful for the further development of its activities in one direction or another.
