OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' FanDOK (based in Bobruisk, Mogilev Region) has announced a tender to upgrade its facilities for manufacturing thin chipboard and plans to purchase a new set of wood processing equipment worth €1 million, a company representative told.

As previously reported, Belarus' FanDOK is busy implementing a €35.3m investment project to facilitate thin chipboard production. The new production equipment, which produces 30,000 cubic metres of chipboard and hollow cored panels, was supplied by China's CITIC. The equipment was bought on a credit provided by China's Eximbank and Belarusbank, with loan security provided by the Government of Belarus.

Established in 1929 as Bobruisk Woodworking Factory, Belarus' FanDOK produces veneers, doorframes, built-in furniture, timber materials and other wood products.
