OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2014. JSC TANECO held a conference of the labor collective on the operation results of the first six months of 2014.

According to Leonid Alekhin, General Director of the Company much hard and effective work was done. Overall, from the beginning of the year 4,271,826 tons of refinery feedstock had been processed at the TANECO facilities. The refining depth ratio amounted to 74.26 percent with the yield of light oil products accounting for 67.3 percent.

Putting into commercial operation of the combined hydrocracking installation in March 2014 allowed supplementing the products' basket of the enterprise with EURO 5 diesel fuel. 447,423 tons of this premium product had been sent to consumers from the beginning of the year. In addition, there were also produced 1,312,345 tons of middle distillates, 1,036,798 tons of fuel oil, 840,705 tons of stable gas naphtha and several other petroleum products.

Due to modernization, the TANECO refinery took a leading position for loading equipment among the Russian refineries. Today the throughput of the Complex has reached 115% of the original design, while the average primary oil processing installations loading level in the country is about 94%.

In general, this period resulted in obtaining the approval for commercial operation of such important facilities as commodity parks for gasoline and kerosene, flare system, automatic loading system of light oil products and industrial waste landfill. A series of technical measures performed allowed increasing the shipment capacity of the automatic loading facility to 5,600 tons per day. The daily shipment index reached 6,200 tons. A tail gas cleanup unit was commissioned at the sulfur production facility, which allowed increasing the yield of sulfur. Three sets of high-speed automatic transfer switch were introduced to improve the reliability of electric power supply to the facilities of hydrocracking and base oils production. This allows avoiding interruption of the main equipment operation, even in emergencies in the external power supply networks of the Complex.
