OREANDA-NEWS. On October 8, 2014, Vladimir Podobed, Chairman of the Board of Penza Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited the head office of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) in order to learn first-hand about its operating principles.

During the business meeting with Vitali Antipov, BUCE head of marketing and analysis, the sides discussed the ways Penza Region companies can utilize BUCE's trading platforms as well as peculiarities of holding exchange trade auctions. Vladimir Podobed displayed keen interest in the electronic platform of consumer and industrial goods that can be used as a gateway to government procurements contracts in the Republic of Belarus.

Summing up the results of the meeting, the parties confirmed the feasibility of strengthening and expanding cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Penza Region of the Russian Federation emphasizing the need to beef up the awareness-raising and promotion efforts among the Russian and Belarusian business community, including through distribution of BUCE-published analytical editions among the members of Penza Regional CCI and other local business associations.
