During the 1st Trading Period "TradeQuest" Students Present their Financial Performance at BHB OREANDA-NEWS. The school teams participating in the TradeQuest program recently presented their trading performance during the first trading period of the program. The sessions were held at Bahrain Bourse’s auditorium.

During the sessions, the participating teams presented their financial performance in both Bahrain Bourse and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) during the first trading period of the program which lasted for four weeks.

The teams also reviewed the main difficulties they faced during this period and their risk management techniques, as well as the performance of the companies on their portfolio. Students also outlined their investment strategy for the second trading period.

The participating schools will make their presentation for the second trading period, which will last for 5 weeks on 22nd February 2015.

TradeQuest consists of three trading periods where schools are required to make a presentation at the end of each trading period in front of the Investment Review Committee to outline their performance, objectives and strategies. The IRC consists of representatives from various financial and banking institutions sponsoring the program.

This year’s TradeQuest program includes 10 school teams, 7 private schools and 3 government schools. The private schools are: Al Wisam International School, Ibn Khuldoon National School, Naseem International School, Al Noor International School, Abdul Rahman Kanoo International School, Bahrain School, and St. Christopher’s School. The government schools are: Al Hidd Secondary Girls School, Sh. Abdulaziz bin Moh’d Secondary Boys School, and Omaima bint Al No’aman Secondary Girls School.
