OREANDA-NEWS. Component manufacturers have raised prices by 14% in average since the beginning of the year, said the general director of the National Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers (NAPAK), Mikhail Blokhin.

"They were supposed to grow. Components are made, also from imported materials. For example, the company produces seats. Russian manufacturer of tissue increased prices by 20%. The reason is the Italian thread, imported”, - says the expert, who is cited by the agency "Prime". The figure is average, and it depends on the import content of the final product, he said. Import component is in the majority of the components, says the head of NAPAK.

Today, support measures apply mainly to automakers, says Mr.Blohin. At the same time the share of components in the production of car grows.
